CAS:Butyl di-1-adamantylphosphine is a homogeneous catalyst that can be used in palladium-catalyzed coupling reactions with aryl chlorides. This catalyst has been used in the synthesis of amines, halides, and tyrosine kinase inhibitors. The catalytic activity of butyl di-1-adamantylphosphine has been shown to depend on the type of ligands that are bound to it. For example, the catalytic activity is decreased when the ligand is an amine or halide. As well, this catalyst binds better to receptor subtypes that have aromatic groups in their binding sites as opposed to aliphatic groups.
