CAS:Triflusal is a drug that inhibits the production of colony-stimulating factor and energy metabolism. It has been shown to have beneficial effects on the liver in vivo. Triflusal also has a chemoattractant protein activity that may be useful for tumor therapy. The pharmacological treatment of triflusal is associated with an increased risk of cancer in humans, which can be attributed to its irreversible inhibition of cyclin D2. Triflusal may have therapeutic potential for treating pain and inflammation, but its use should be limited to patients at low risk for cancer.
