    Carboxymefloquine is a cytochrome P450 inhibitor that is used as an antiparasitic drug in the treatment of intestinal amebiasis and malaria. Carboxymefloquine inhibits the activity of various cytochrome P450 enzymes, which are involved in the metabolism of other drugs.
