Applications Potassium Peroxymonosulfate Sulfate is an extremely potent oxidizer. It also may act as a bactericidal agent as treatment of bacterial spores with this agent leads to damage to the spore’s inner membrane. Plays a role in oxidative halogenation of various carbonyl and ketone compounds.
