:Sennoside D
Description:
Sennoside D is a natural compound classified as a glycoside, primarily derived from the leaves and pods of the Senna plant, which is commonly used in traditional medicine as a laxative. It is part of a group of compounds known as sennosides, which exert their effects by stimulating bowel movements. Sennoside D is characterized by its chemical structure, which includes a sugar moiety linked to an anthraquinone backbone. This compound is typically found in the form of a yellowish powder and is soluble in water and alcohol, making it suitable for various formulations. Its laxative properties are attributed to its ability to increase intestinal motility and promote the secretion of fluids in the intestines. While generally considered safe for short-term use, excessive consumption can lead to side effects such as abdominal cramps and diarrhea. As with any medicinal compound, it is important to use sennoside D under appropriate guidance to avoid potential adverse effects.

Sennoside D
CAS:
Sennoside D is an anthraquinone glycoside extracted from leaves and pods of Cassia angustifolia.
Formula:C42H40O19Purity:98.9%Color and Shape:SolidMolecular weight:848.76Sennoside D
CAS:
Sennoside D is a fatty acid that can be isolated from the sennosides found in the leaves of the plant Senna alata. It has been shown to have anti-tumor properties and may play a role in treating colon cancer, breast cancer, and skin cancer. Sennoside D has also been shown to be effective against autoimmune diseases such as arthritis, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn's disease. The low energy of this compound may be due to its formation rate. The hydroxide solution (NaOH) is used in the synthesis of this molecule because it binds with carbon dioxide molecules to form sodium bicarbonate and carbon dioxide gas which can then be captured by water. This process produces a high yield of sennoside D. In addition, the bound form of this molecule is soluble in organic solvents and insoluble in water, which makes it suitable for skin conditions as well as colon cancer treatments.
Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:Solid
