Casein kinase II inhibitor ix, iqa
CAS:
Ix and Iqa are casein kinase II (CKII) inhibitors that have been shown to have a number of immunomodulatory effects, including the inhibition of HIV replication. These inhibitors bind to the catalytic site of CKII, which is responsible for phosphorylating serine residues on specific proteins. This prevents the phosphorylation of these serines and thus inhibits protein synthesis. Ix and Iqa are active against a variety of microbial strains that are resistant to other antimicrobial agents. The mechanism by which these inhibitors inhibit bacterial growth is not well understood but may be due to their ability to interfere with the formation of hydrogen bonds in the cytoplasmic membrane or through electron transfer interactions between chlorine atoms in ix and nitrogen atoms in iaa.
Formula:C17H12N2O3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:292.29 g/molIQA
