It has high purity and quality and can be used as a nucleoside activator for DNA synthesis. 3'-O-Methyl-5'-guanylic acid has been shown to be an anticancer agent that inhibits the growth of cancer cells in vitro by inhibiting DNA synthesis and cell division.
