4’-(7-Dechloroquinolinyl) piperaquine is an inhibitor of tumor kinases and has shown potent anticancer activity against various cancer cells. This compound is a derivative of piperaquine, which is commonly used as an antimalarial drug. 4’-(7-Dechloroquinolinyl) piperaquine has been found to induce apoptosis in human cancer cells by inhibiting the activity of protein kinases that are essential for cell growth and division. It has also been shown to have synergistic effects with capsaicin, a natural compound found in chili peppers, in inhibiting the growth of cancer cells.
