CAS 52093-21-7
:Micronomicin
Description:
Micronomicin, with the CAS number 52093-21-7, is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that is primarily used for its antibacterial properties. It is derived from the fermentation of certain strains of Micromonospora, a genus of bacteria. Micronomicin exhibits a broad spectrum of activity against various Gram-negative and some Gram-positive bacteria, making it effective in treating infections caused by these pathogens. The mechanism of action involves binding to the bacterial ribosome, inhibiting protein synthesis, which ultimately leads to bacterial cell death. This compound is often utilized in clinical settings for treating serious infections, particularly those caused by resistant strains. In terms of physical properties, micronomicin is typically a white to off-white powder, soluble in water, which facilitates its administration in injectable forms. However, like other aminoglycosides, it may have potential nephrotoxic and ototoxic side effects, necessitating careful monitoring during treatment. Overall, micronomicin is a valuable antibiotic in the therapeutic arsenal against bacterial infections, particularly in cases where other treatments may be ineffective.

Gentamicin C2b
CAS:
Gentamicin C2b is an antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis. This drug is used to treat a wide variety of infections, including those caused by Escherichia coli, Enterobacter cloacae, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Gentamicin C2b has been shown to have high resistance against wild-type strains of bacteria as well as resistant mutants. The chemiluminescence method for measuring gentamicin in biological fluids has been shown to be a sensitive and specific analytical method. Gentamicin C2b has been tested for toxicity in both animals and humans and it appears to be well tolerated. There are no known studies on the toxicological effects of gentamicin C2b in pregnant women or their fetuses.
Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMicronomicin
