    <p>4-(Propan-2-yloxy)pyridine is an isomer of pyridine, a heterocyclic organic compound with the chemical formula C5H7N. It contains a benzene ring fused to a pyridine ring. The compound is of interest as a model system for studying asymmetric synthesis because it can be synthesized in two forms that are mirror images of each other. The molecule has been shown to be metastable and deuterium can be used as a shift reagent to reveal its chirality. 4-(Propan-2-yloxy)pyridine has also been shown to have antimicrobial properties against bacteria such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).</p>
