:3-methyl-1-phenyl-5-(piperidin-1-yl)-1H-pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde
Description:
3-Methyl-1-phenyl-5-(piperidin-1-yl)-1H-pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde, with the CAS number 5499-70-7, is a chemical compound characterized by its pyrazole core, which is a five-membered ring containing two nitrogen atoms. This compound features a methyl group and a phenyl group attached to the pyrazole ring, contributing to its hydrophobic characteristics. The presence of a piperidine moiety introduces a cyclic amine structure, enhancing its potential for biological activity. The aldehyde functional group at the 4-position of the pyrazole ring is significant for reactivity, allowing for various chemical transformations, including condensation reactions. This compound may exhibit interesting pharmacological properties, making it a subject of interest in medicinal chemistry. Its structural features suggest potential applications in drug development, particularly in areas targeting neurological or psychiatric conditions, given the presence of the piperidine group. However, specific biological activities and safety profiles would require further investigation through empirical studies.

CAS:
3-Methyl-1-phenyl-5-(piperidin-1-yl)-1H-pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde (MPPC) is a crosslinked polymer that spontaneously forms nanoparticles. The Langmuir isotherm was used to characterize the parameters of this polymer. A chitosan gel, magnetic nanoparticle and thermodynamic techniques were used to study the characteristics of MPPC. The kinetic and endothermic studies were carried out using magnetic nanoparticles. This polymer has been shown to desorb from chitosan gels and magnetic nanoparticles, which can be useful for drug delivery applications.
Formula:C16H19N3OPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:269.34 g/mol
