2,3-Dihydro-1H-indole-1-carboxamide is a factor receptor inhibitor that prevents the binding of growth factors to their receptors. It has been shown to have endothelial dysfunction activity and to inhibit cell growth in cardiac, atherosclerotic lesions, and pulmonary endothelial cells. 2,3-Dihydro-1H-indole-1-carboxamide has also been shown to prevent vascular endothelial cell growth and to reduce the size of atherosclerotic lesions in mice. This drug is a pharmaceutical product that can be used as an antiangiogenic agent or as a medicament for the treatment of pulmonary diseases.
