CAS 58052-80-5
:1,3,5-Triazine, hexahydro-2,4,6-trimethyl-, hydrate (1:3)
Description:
1,3,5-Triazine, hexahydro-2,4,6-trimethyl-, hydrate (1:3), with the CAS number 58052-80-5, is a chemical compound characterized by its triazine ring structure, which is a six-membered heterocyclic compound containing three nitrogen atoms. This specific compound features a saturated hexahydro form, indicating that it has undergone hydrogenation, resulting in a fully saturated ring. The presence of three methyl groups at the 2, 4, and 6 positions contributes to its hydrophobic characteristics and influences its reactivity and solubility. The hydrate form suggests that the compound can associate with water molecules, which may affect its physical properties, such as melting point and solubility in various solvents. Typically, compounds of this nature are of interest in fields such as agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and materials science due to their potential applications in synthesis and as intermediates. Safety data should be consulted for handling and storage, as with any chemical substance, to ensure proper precautions are taken.

CAS:
Acetaldehyde ammonia trimer (AAT) is a stable and efficient monomer for the preparation of poly(perfluorooctanoate) (PFOA) of high molecular weight. Reaction of AAT with perfluorinated monomers leads to the formation of water-soluble PFOA oligomers, which are then polymerized to give an insoluble polymer. The synthesis of AAT is achieved by reacting acetaldehyde with ammonia in the presence of a chloride and hydroxide solution. The reaction products include hydrochloric acid, ammonium chloride, and ammonium hydroxide. Acetaldehyde ammonia trimer is soluble in water and reacts efficiently with perfluorinated monomers to generate polymers.
Formula:C6H15N3·3H2OPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:183.25 g/mol
