6b-Hydroxytestosterone

6b-Hydroxytestosterone is an antiplatelet agent that belongs to the class of thienopyridine derivatives. It inhibits platelet aggregation by blocking GPIIb/IIIa receptors on the surface of the platelets. The effect of 6b-hydroxytestosterone on platelet aggregation is irreversible.
