Dipropyldopamine hydrobromide is an implantable sealant that contains dopamine. It has been shown to be effective in treating cardiac conditions, such as cardiac arrhythmias and dysrhythmias. Dipropyldopamine hydrobromide is a molecule consisting of two parts: a dopamine molecule and a bromine atom. It is used in the treatment of renal failure by increasing renal blood flow and decreasing the level of urea in the blood. Dipropyldopamine hydrobromide has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and can be used as a detergent composition for removing protein from surgical instruments. The drug may cause side effects, including nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, or depression.
