:Cyadox
Description:
Cyadox is an antibiotic compound primarily used in veterinary medicine, particularly for livestock. It belongs to the class of quinoxaline derivatives and is known for its effectiveness against certain bacterial infections, particularly those caused by Gram-positive bacteria. Cyadox functions by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby preventing the growth and reproduction of pathogens. It is often utilized in animal feed to promote growth and improve feed efficiency. The substance is characterized by its relatively low solubility in water, which influences its bioavailability and absorption in animals. Additionally, Cyadox has been studied for its potential effects on animal health and its implications for food safety, as residues may persist in animal products. Regulatory agencies monitor its use to ensure that it does not pose risks to human health or the environment. As with any antibiotic, the development of resistance is a concern, necessitating careful management of its application in agricultural practices.

CAS:
Cyadox is a metal chelate compound that has been shown to have antibacterial efficacy against Gram-positive bacteria. Cyadox binds to fatty acids on the bacterial cell membrane and forms an ionic complex, which results in the disruption of the lipid bilayer and inhibition of protein synthesis. Cyadox has been shown to inhibit epidermal growth factor (EGF) activity in human serum and may be used for the treatment of skin infections. Cyadox also shows genotoxic activity at high concentrations, but not at low concentrations. Cyadox is effective against Gram-positive bacteria and has been used in combination with other antibiotics to treat infections caused by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). The LC-MS/MS method was used to determine the concentration of cyadox in human liver cells.
Formula:C12H9N5O3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:271.23 g/mol
