KGA-2727 has been shown to lower blood pressure and increase insulin sensitivity in diabetic mice. Chronic treatment with KGA-2727 has been shown to increase insulin sensitivity in wild-type mice without any adverse effects. This drug also lowers blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes.
