N-(trifluoroacetyl)-1-desmethyl daunorubicin is an analog of daunorubicin that is synthesized by the click chemistry and fluorination reactions. It contains a trifluoroacetyl group on the 1-position of the desmethyl group, which has been shown to increase its stability in vivo. N-(trifluoroacetyl)-1-desmethyl daunorubicin has been shown to be effective in the treatment of hematological malignancies such as leukemia and lymphoma. This compound is synthesized in high purity and with a purity of greater than 99%. It is also glycosylated and methylated.
