:Carbonic dichloride, polymer with 4,4′-(1-methylethylidene)bis[2,6-dibromophenol], bis(2,4,6-tribromophenyl) ester
Description:
Carbonic dichloride, polymer with 4,4′-(1-methylethylidene)bis[2,6-dibromophenol], bis(2,4,6-tribromophenyl) ester, identified by CAS number 71342-77-3, is a complex polymeric compound characterized by its brominated structure, which contributes to its flame-retardant properties. This substance is typically used in applications requiring enhanced thermal stability and fire resistance, making it suitable for various industrial uses, including in plastics and coatings. The presence of multiple bromine atoms in its structure enhances its ability to inhibit combustion, thereby improving safety in materials where fire resistance is critical. Additionally, the polymer's chemical stability and resistance to degradation under heat and UV exposure make it valuable in long-lasting applications. However, due to the presence of brominated compounds, environmental and health considerations are important, as some brominated flame retardants have raised concerns regarding toxicity and bioaccumulation. Overall, this compound exemplifies the balance between functional performance and safety in material science.

2,4,6-Tribromophenyl-terminated tetrabromobisphenol-A carbonate oligomer
CAS:Controlled Product
2,4,6-Tribromophenyl-terminated tetrabromobisphenol-A carbonate oligomer (2,4,6-TBBA) is a synthetic substance that belongs to the group of environmental estrogens. It has been found in soil and water samples and is known to be an endocrine disruptor. 2,4,6-TBBA has been detected in urine samples of women and control groups in concentrations that are considerably higher than those found in males. This substance has been shown to cause estrogenic effects such as altering the menstrual cycle and decreasing sperm count by binding to estrogen receptors. The presence of 2,4,6-TBBA can be determined by analysing urine samples with β-glucuronidase for hydrolysis of phenolic metabolites.
Formula:(C15H12Br4O2•CCl2O)x•(C6H3Br3O)2Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderRef: 3D-FT43841
