Phenyl 4,6-O-benzylidene-b-D-thioglucopyranoside is a biodegradable compound that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of cancer. Phenyl 4,6-O-benzylidene-b-D-thioglucopyranoside emits light when it interacts with oxygen.
