This compound is also able to activate the multikinase, which is an enzyme that controls cellular proliferation. CE-245677 has been shown to inhibit tumor vasculature growth and colorectal carcinoma cell growth. CE-245677 also has pharmacokinetic properties that are desirable for clinical development, including a short half-life and high clearance rate from the body.
