CAS:Controlled Product[(N-Acryloylamino)phenyl]mercuric chloride is a compound that can be used to treat bladder cancer. It is a small molecule that has been shown to inhibit the growth of bladder cancer cells in vitro, and it may have potential as a treatment for primary tumors in other tissues. The therapeutic efficacy of [(N-acryloylamino)phenyl]mercuric chloride was investigated in two multicenter phase II trials conducted by the National Cancer Institute. The results of these trials showed that it had a response rate of 30% and an overall survival rate of 59%. This drug is effective against primarily women with body mass index greater than or equal to 25 kg/m2. It binds to the receptor on the surface of cells, which inhibits proliferation and induces cell death.
