CAS:
Torsemide impurity A (T-A) is a photolytic impurity that has been detected in the drug product. The photolytic reactions of T-A are linear with respect to the concentration of torsades de pointes. The chromatographic method used to detect T-A was validated and found to be accurate within 10% relative standard deviation. This validation was performed using a calibration curve obtained using a chromatographic method and elution time. The validation study also showed that the linearity of the calibration curve resulted in an accurate measurement of drug concentration.
Formula:C13H11N3O3SPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:289.31 g/mol
