CAS 72895-88-6
:Eltenac
Description:
Eltenac, with the CAS number 72895-88-6, is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is primarily used for its analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, making it effective in treating conditions such as pain and inflammation. Eltenac works by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, which play a crucial role in the synthesis of prostaglandins, compounds that mediate inflammation and pain. The substance is typically administered in various formulations, including tablets and injections, and is known for its relatively rapid onset of action. As with many NSAIDs, potential side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, cardiovascular risks, and renal impairment, particularly with prolonged use. It is important for users to follow dosage recommendations and consult healthcare professionals to mitigate risks and ensure safe usage. Overall, Eltenac is recognized for its therapeutic benefits in managing pain and inflammation, contributing to its utility in clinical settings.

CAS:
Eltenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug with a carbonyl group. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of diabetic patients who have a body mass index between 25 and 30. Eltenac has been shown to reduce median plasma fibrinogen levels, which may be due to its alkalizing effect on the stomach. The clinical relevance of this effect is not known. Eltenac inhibits prostaglandin biosynthesis by competing with cyclooxygenase for the common substrate arachidonic acid, which leads to decreased production of prostaglandins and an anti-inflammatory effect. This drug also has long-term efficacy, as it can take up to six months for blood concentrations of eltenac to decline after discontinuation.
Formula:C12H9Cl2NO2SPurity:Min. 98 Area-%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:302.18 g/molEltenac-13C,d3
