Description:
Indium is a post-transition metal with the chemical symbol "In" and the CAS number 7440-74-6. It is characterized by its silvery-white appearance and is relatively soft, malleable, and ductile, allowing it to be easily shaped and formed. Indium has a low melting point compared to many metals, which makes it useful in various applications, including soldering and electronics.
