    <p>BI 2536 is a protein kinase inhibitor that specifically blocks the activity of the protein Bcl-2-interacting killer (BIK) by binding to its ATP-binding site. It has been shown to induce apoptosis in cancer cells, including squamous cell carcinoma and HL60 cells.
