    <p>Methylphenylsilane is a colorless liquid with a boiling point of 156.5°C and a melting point of -107.8°C. It is soluble in ethyl acetate, diethylether and dichloromethane. Methylphenylsilane has been used as a catalyst in the trimerization of amines under high pressure and temperature conditions to produce alkyl methacrylate esters. Methylphenylsilane has also been used as a solid catalyst for cationic polymerization of silicon-containing monomers in water vapor at temperatures between 100°C and 200°C.</p>
