:des-gly10,(D-his(bzl)6)-lh-rh*ethylamide
Description:
Des-gly10,(D-his(bzl)6)-lh-rh*ethylamide, with the CAS number 76712-82-8, is a synthetic peptide analog derived from the naturally occurring hormone luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH). This compound is characterized by its structural modifications, which include the deletion of the glycine residue at position 10 and the incorporation of a D-histidine residue with a benzyl group at position 6. These modifications enhance its stability and bioactivity compared to the native LHRH. The compound typically exhibits high affinity for LHRH receptors, making it of interest in research related to reproductive biology and potential therapeutic applications in hormone-related disorders. Its unique structure allows for prolonged action in biological systems, which can be beneficial in clinical settings. As a peptide, it is generally soluble in aqueous solutions and may require specific conditions for storage and handling to maintain its integrity. Overall, des-gly10,(D-his(bzl)6)-lh-rh*ethylamide represents a significant advancement in peptide design for targeted hormonal therapies.

CAS:
Histrelin acetate is a synthetic analog of the natural hormone histrelin. It has been used clinically to treat prostate cancer, androgenetic alopecia, and other conditions. Histrelin acetate binds to receptors in the hypothalamus and pituitary gland that are responsible for regulating the production of sex hormones. This drug is administered by injection into the pubic area or under the skin as an implant. Histrelin acetate's effectiveness is related to its suppression of gonadotropins, which results in decreased testosterone levels. Histrelin acetate also decreases testosterone production by inhibiting gonadotropin-releasing hormone from stimulating the anterior pituitary gland to produce luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). The long-term efficacy of this drug has been demonstrated in clinical studies lasting up to two years with no significant adverse effects on bone mineral density or sexual function.
Purity:Min. 95%
