Racemic cis-1-benzyl-2-methyl-4-(N-propananilido)piperidine (SBP) is a synthetic opioid analgesic that has been shown to bind to the μ-opioid receptor. It is the racemic form of the more potent S(+)-isomer. SBP is metabolized in vivo by cytochrome P450 2C19 and cytochrome P450 3A5, and its metabolites can be detected in human liver.
