6-CYANO-11-HYDRO-DIBENZOAZEPINE

Description:
6-Cyano-11-hydro-dibenzoazepine, identified by its CAS number 80012-69-7, is a chemical compound that belongs to the dibenzoazepine class, which is characterized by a fused bicyclic structure containing both benzene and azepine rings. This compound typically exhibits properties such as moderate solubility in organic solvents and limited solubility in water, which is common for many organic compounds with complex structures. The presence of a cyano group (-CN) and a hydro group (-OH) contributes to its reactivity and potential biological activity. Compounds in this class may exhibit pharmacological properties, making them of interest in medicinal chemistry. The specific characteristics, such as melting point, boiling point, and spectral data, would depend on the compound's purity and the conditions under which it is analyzed. As with many chemical substances, safety data sheets should be consulted for handling and toxicity information, as the presence of cyano groups can indicate potential toxicity.
