:CASSIA OIL
Description:
Cassia oil, derived from the bark and leaves of the Cinnamomum cassia tree, is a volatile essential oil characterized by its warm, spicy aroma. It primarily contains compounds such as cinnamaldehyde, which contributes to its distinctive scent and flavor, along with eugenol and other terpenes. The oil is typically yellow to brown in color and has a relatively high refractive index. Cassia oil is known for its antimicrobial and antifungal properties, making it useful in various applications, including food preservation, perfumery, and traditional medicine. It is often used as a flavoring agent in culinary practices, particularly in Asian cuisines. However, it should be noted that cassia oil can cause skin irritation in some individuals, and its use should be approached with caution, particularly in concentrated forms. Additionally, due to its strong aroma, it is often blended with other essential oils to create balanced fragrances. Overall, cassia oil is valued for both its aromatic qualities and its potential health benefits.

Cassia oil
CAS:Cassia oil is a natural, non-steroidal coumarin derivative that has been shown to have activity against Candida glabrata. This compound has been found to have an antifungal effect in the form of inhibition of the synthesis of RNA polymerase and DNA polymerase, which are required for bacterial growth. Cassia oil also displays antibacterial effects against oral pathogens, such as Escherichia coli and Enterococcus faecalis. The analytical method used for cassia oil was developed by Chinese researchers and is based on the 1H NMR spectroscopy of cinnamon oil. The efficacy of cassia oil was evaluated using a model system with Angelica dahurica (a type of wormwood). This study found that cassia oil had an insecticidal effect against larvae of Culex quinquefasciatus (mosquito) larvae.Formula:C19H22O2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:282.4 g/mol
