CAS:<p>2-Amino-5-bromo-4-t-butylthiazole is a heterocyclic amine that is used as a precursor to other compounds. 2-Amino-5-bromo-4-t-butylthiazole can be synthesized by the reaction of 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 erythrobenzothiadiazole with aniline and sulfuric acid. The kinetic isotope effect has been studied using the reactant trichloroacetamide. The mechanistic study has shown that the rate of this reaction is increased in the presence of light due to the formation of a reactive intermediate.
