CAS:(S)-4-Hydroxy mephenytoin is a metabolite of the antiepileptic drug phenytoin. It is produced by cytochrome P450 enzymes, such as CYP2C19 and CYP3A4. The production of (S)-4-hydroxy mephenytoin can be inhibited by drugs that inhibit these enzymes, such as isradipine, felodipine, or fluconazole. The effects on the activity of CYP2C19 and CYP3A4 may vary between individuals with different genotypes. Thus, the clinical response to (S)-4-hydroxy mephenytoin may be altered in some cases.Formula:C12H14N2O3Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:234.25 g/mol
