Biliverdin hydrochloride
CAS:
Biliverdin hydrochloride is a tetrapyrrole compound formed from the oxidation of heme, with potential antioxidant activity, involved in the biliverdin-bilirubin redox system.
Formula:C33H35ClN4O6Purity:≥97.0%Color and Shape:SolidMolecular weight:619.11Biliverdin hydrochloride
CAS:
Biliverdin is a green pigment that is synthesized by various living organisms, including humans. Biliverdin can be isolated from blood samples and the extract can be purified to yield biliverdin dihydrochloride. The chemical properties of biliverdin dihydrochloride are similar to those of biliverdine, a known anti-inflammatory compound. The enzyme reaction between biliverdin dihydrochloride and human serum has been found to exhibit pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β and IL-6 in vitro. In addition, it has been shown that the absorbance of fluorescence probe in the presence of biliverdin dihydrochloride is proportional to the concentration of leishmania cells in cell culture. In conclusion, biliverdin dihydrochloride exhibits anti-inflammatory properties when used as an analyte in analytical chemistry assays.
Formula:C33H34N4O6•HCLPurity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:619.1 g/mol
