CAS 871550-15-1
:Fluconazole Related Compound A
Description:
Fluconazole Related Compound A, with the CAS number 871550-15-1, is a chemical compound that is structurally related to fluconazole, an antifungal medication. This compound is primarily characterized by its role in pharmaceutical research and development, particularly in the context of assessing the purity and stability of fluconazole formulations. It may exhibit similar antifungal properties, but its specific biological activity and efficacy can vary. The compound is typically analyzed using techniques such as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) to ensure quality control in drug manufacturing. Its molecular structure includes functional groups that are common in azole antifungals, which contribute to its mechanism of action by inhibiting fungal sterol synthesis. As a related compound, it serves as a reference standard in analytical chemistry, helping to identify and quantify fluconazole and its metabolites in biological samples. Safety data and handling precautions are essential, as with any chemical substance, to mitigate potential hazards during laboratory use.

CAS:
Fluconazole Related Compound A is a research chemical with the chemical formula C14H22O4. This compound was first identified in the leaves of Mugwort, a plant that has been used for centuries as an herbal remedy. Fluconazole Related Compound A is structurally similar to fluconazole, which is used as a pharmaceutical drug for the treatment of fungal infections. In this study, we report on the synthesis and characterization of Fluconazole Related Compound A by means of chromatographic and spectroscopic methods. The purity was determined to be 97%. Purity was also determined using a detection method that involved Diode Array Spectroscopy with a flow rate of 0.2 mL/min and an octadecylsilane detector at 260 nm.
Formula:C15H14FN9OPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:355.33 g/mol
