It has been shown to increase the current in functional assays and block acetylcholine-induced bronchoconstriction in guinea pigs. LY 2119620 also has been shown to have metabolic effects, such as lowering cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and inhibiting oxidation by acting as a catalyst at low energy. The compound class of LY 2119620 contains nitrogen atoms and is part of the group of allosteric binding drugs that work by binding to adenosine receptors. To date, LY 2119620 has yet to be tested on multi-walled carbon nanotubes but it is expected that it will bind well because of its similar structure.</p>
