    <p>N-(2-Hydroxyethyl)sulfamide is a sulfonamide inhibitor that binds to the protease enzyme, preventing it from cutting the protein chain. It is used in clinical settings for HIV/AIDS therapy. N-(2-Hydroxyethyl)sulfamide is also an inhibitor of aspartyl, β-amino acid, and darunavir ethanolate. It has been shown to inhibit retroviral replication, which may be due to its ability to bind with the protease enzyme. This product also inhibits human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) protease and other proteases such as papain and subtilisin.</p>
