CAS 9002-61-3
:Chorionic gonadotropin
Description:
Chorionic gonadotropin, often referred to as human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), is a glycoprotein hormone produced during pregnancy by the placenta. It is composed of two subunits, alpha and beta, which are linked by non-covalent interactions. The alpha subunit is similar to that of other hormones such as luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), while the beta subunit is unique to hCG, providing it with specific biological activity. hCG plays a crucial role in maintaining the corpus luteum during early pregnancy, thereby supporting progesterone production, which is essential for sustaining the uterine lining. In addition to its physiological role in pregnancy, hCG is also utilized in various medical applications, including fertility treatments and as a marker in certain cancers. The CAS number 9002-61-3 identifies this substance in chemical databases, facilitating its study and application in both clinical and research settings. Overall, hCG is a vital hormone with significant implications in reproductive health and medicine.

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin
CAS:Polypeptide, protein and glycoprotein hormones, their derivatives and structural analogues, nesoiColor and Shape:White Off-White PowderMolecular weight:30000 - 36000Non-human chorionic gonadotrophin
CAS:
Non-human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG) is a hormone that has important physiological and health effects on humans. It is used to stimulate the production of testosterone in males, and progesterone in females. HCG is also used to diagnose pregnancy, and to treat infertility by stimulating ovulation. It is also used to treat delayed puberty in children. HCG is a synthetic form of the human hormone chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). HCG binds to cells with high levels of luteinizing hormone receptors, such as the cells lining the uterus or breast tissue. This binding triggers a series of reactions that lead to the production of progesterone or testosterone. By inhibiting buserelin, HCG can inhibit follicle growth and ovulation in females. This drug also has an inhibitory effect on villi, which are small fingerlike projections from the wall of the small intestine that increase its surface area for absorption.
Purity:Min. 95%
