    <p>Poly(ethylenglycol) methyl ether Mn 550 is a polymer that has been synthesized by the reaction of MnCl2 and ethylene glycol. The thermal expansion coefficient for this polymer is about 1.8x10^-5/K, which can be used to determine the temperature changes in the environment. The ionization mass spectrometry analysis shows that it consists of Mn and oxygen atoms. This polymer has a diameter of around 2 nm, which can be determined by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Poly(ethylenglycol) methyl ether Mn 550 has been shown to have catalase activity, which is an enzyme that breaks down hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen gas. It also has growth kinetics that are dependent on the concentration of the polymer.</p>
