CAS:Carebastine is a histamine H1 receptor antagonist. Carebastine blocks the action of histamine on cells that release inflammatory substances and is used to treat allergic symptoms such as itching, sneezing, and runny nose. Carebastine has been shown to reduce the frequency of bowel movements in patients with chronic idiopathic constipation. This drug can also cause side effects such as drowsiness, dry mouth, headache, blurred vision, muscle weakness and pain.
