Quinoline-2-carbothioamide
CAS:<p>Quinoline-2-carbothioamide is a quinolinecarboxamide antiviral agent that inhibits the growth of viruses by inhibiting their replication. Quinoline-2-carbothioamide binds to viral RNA at the c1-8 alkyl and c1-6 alkyl positions and prevents its synthesis. It also binds to plant tissue and has been shown to inhibit the growth of certain types of cancer cells.
