Methyl 3-oxohept-6-enoate
CAS:
Methyl 3-oxohept-6-enoate is a cyclopropane, which is a type of organic compound that contains one or more rings of carbon atoms. This compound can be synthesized by the chemoenzymatic process using hydrogen chloride and activated methylene chloride. The synthesis starts with an acidic condensation process, followed by the hydroalkylation of methyl 3-oxoheptanoate. The resulting product is then isolated through a chiral synthetic process and has an isolated yield of 51%.
Formula:C8H12O3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:156.18 g/molRef: 3D-FBA41457

Discontinued product4-bromo-1-hydroxynaphthalene-2-carboxylic acid
CAS:
4-Bromo-1-hydroxynaphthalene-2-carboxylic acid (4BHN) is a spectroscopic compound that has been used as a radioligand to study the binding of dopamine and dopamine D3 receptors. This compound binds to the d3 receptor with high affinity and specificity, but it does not interact with the d1 or d2 receptors. 4BHN has been shown to act as an agonist at the dopamine D3 receptor. It also acts as an antagonist at the piperidine site of the dopamine D2 receptor. The effects of 4BHN are reversible, which means that it can be displaced by unlabeled 4BHN or other compounds that bind to the same site on the receptor. This technique is useful for studying drug interactions and for determining whether drugs have a subtype selectivity profile.
Formula:C11H7BrO3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:267.1 g/mol3,4-Dibromo-1,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole

CAS:Controlled Product
PB-22 is a synthetic cannabinoid, which can be classified as a CB1 receptor agonist. It is one of the many cannabinoids that have been created in an attempt to circumvent drug laws by creating compounds that are similar to those found in cannabis but have different chemical structures. PB-22 has shown to increase locomotor activity and stimulate the cb1 receptor in mice. Magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) and assays were used to determine the binding affinity of PB-22 for the CB1 receptor. The MRS data showed that PB-22 bound with high affinity to the CB1 receptor and had a lower affinity for CB2 receptors. This suggests that PB-22 may be more potent than other synthetic cannabinoids, such as JWH-018 and CP 55,940, which bind better with CB2 receptors than CB1 receptors.
PB-22 is an analog of JWH-073 and has been shown to have a stronger effect on locomotor activity than JWH
Formula:C14H17NO2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:231.29 g/mol3,5-Dimethylcyclohexane-1-carbonitrile

CAS:
Bromocycloheptane is a c6 alkyl that functions as an uptake inhibitor. It is used in the synthesis of other organic compounds, such as imidazole derivatives. Bromocycloheptane has been shown to inhibit uptake in the brain and consequently reduce infarctions in animal models of Alzheimer's disease. Bromocycloheptane inhibits uptake by blocking the function of the carrier protein, which carries neurotransmitters from synapses to axons and dendrites. Bromocycloheptane binds to magnesium ions, which are necessary for hydrolysis of ATP and therefore for uptake into cells. The magnesium ion is found in many enzymes involved in cellular processes, including those that produce ATP, so bromocycloheptane may interfere with cell function by interfering with these enzymes. MBTCA is an aerobic, nonpolar compound that has shown antimicrobial activity against some bacteria and fungi. It also has been shown to have practicality as a biomolecular probe for methyl groups in organic solvents. MBTCA can be synthesized by nitration of benzene in the presence of sulfur and sulfoxides. This reaction produces nitrobenzene, which can then be oxidized by potassium permanganate or hydrogen peroxide to produce MBTCA. The most common isomer of MBTCA is 2-(3,5-dimethoxybenzylidene)tetrahydrofuran, with three methyl groups on the
Formula:C10H8O2SPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:192.23 g/mol2-Phenoxyaniline

The kinetic study of this reaction revealed that the activation energy for the reaction is 42 kJ/mol. Palladium-catalyzed coupling reactions are catalyzed by palladium and require nonpolar solvents such as toluene or dichloromethane. CAS:
2,2',4,4'-tetrahydroxybenzophenone is a hydroxylated benzophenone that has immunomodulatory effects. It binds to the receptor in the immune system and can cause an increase in cytokine production. 2,2',4,4'-tetrahydroxybenzophenone is cytotoxic and has significant toxicity in vitro. The molecule has been shown to disrupt mitochondrial membrane potential. This may be due to its ability to form hydrogen bonds with molecules on the mitochondrial membrane. 2,2',4,4'-tetrahydroxybenzophenone also modulates transcriptional regulation of genes involved in cell proliferation and apoptosis.
