This drug inhibits the activation of phospholipase A2, which is responsible for the release of arachidonic acid from membrane phospholipids. Norpinane-1,5-diamine dihydrochloride also has anti-cancer effects on squamous cell carcinoma and histidine decarboxylase cells.
