CAS:4-Ethylquinoline is an organic compound that has a number of uses, including as a stabilizer in polyvinyl chloride and as a chloroformate. It also has an important role in the synthesis of 8-hydroxyquinoline. The hydroxy derivative is used as a reagent for the stereoselective synthesis of heterocycles and trifluoromethylthiolation. 4-Ethylquinoline can be synthesized from butyraldehyde and 1,2-dichloroethane. This reaction proceeds with high stereocontrol, giving 4-ethylquinoline in high yield. 4-Ethylquinoline is stable to heat and acid, making it useful for many chemical reactions. One use is as an intermediate for the synthesis of 8-hydoxyquinoline, which can be used as a marker for DNA synthesis in calf thymus tissue or bacterial DNA gyrase.Formula:C11H11NPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:157.21 g/mol1,4-Dimethyl 2-hydroxy-2-methylbutanedioate
CAS:1,4-Dimethyl 2-hydroxy-2-methylbutanedioate is an allylating agent that modifies the amino acid lysine residues in proteins. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of skin lesions caused by Staphylococcus aureus and other bacteria because it inhibits bacterial growth through an antimicrobial effect. 1,4-Dimethyl 2-hydroxy-2-methylbutanedioate also has been used as a precursor for the synthesis of vitamin D3. This compound is metabolized in mammalian cells to form cysteamine, which is further converted to S-(1,4-dimethylpentadienoyl)cysteamine (DMPE). The resulting product can be used as a functional group on collagen or malic acid. 1,4-Dimethyl 2-hydroxy-2-methylbutanedioate also is used for modifications of mucocutaneous tissues such as skin and oral mucFormula:C7H12O5Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:176.17 g/molMethyl 3-amino-3-phenylbutanoate

CAS:Versatile small molecule scaffoldFormula:C6H12ClNO2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:165.62 g/mol4-Chloro-2-methyl-5-nitrophenol
CAS:4-Chloro-2-methyl-5-nitrophenol is a white solid with an alkaline reaction. It is used in the production of sulfonated dyes, as well as in the manufacture of certain drugs and pesticides. 4-Chloro-2-methyl-5-nitrophenol can be made industrially by the elimination of toluene under acidic conditions. This product also reacts with nitric acid to form a radical intermediate that adds to a phenyl group, forming a nitro group at position 2 on the ring structure, yielding 4-(2'-methylpropyl)-phenylamine. This compound can also be made by reacting 2,4,5-trichlorophenol with phosphorus pentachloride or thionyl chloride. The resulting chlorinated compound is then oxidized to produce 4-(2'-methylpropyl)-phenylamine and HCl gas.

CAS:3-Dimethylamino-2,2-dimethyl-1-propanol (DMAP) is a chemical compound that is used as a catalyst in organic synthesis. DMAP is used for the preparation of azides and alkyl substituents, as well as for transfer reactions such as vinyl ethers. It can also be used to quaternize functional groups and synthesize low molecular weight compounds. DMAP is insensitive to oxygen, making it possible to carry out reactions under air or vacuum. This property also makes DMAP useful in the synthesis of high molecular weight compounds with a high degree of stereoselectivity.Formula:C7H17NOPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:131.22 g/mol2-Amino-1-(2,6-dichlorophenyl)ethan-1-ol
