The synthetic reaction for 6-(aminomethyl)isoindolin-1-one involves the conversion of an aminomethyl ketone with sodium cyanide and a transition metal catalyst. This process produces two products: 6-(aminomethyl)isoindolin-1-one and 2,4,6-trichlorophenol.
