This Reagecon Density Standard Quality Range 0.8715 g/mL at 15°C is manufactured and tested in accordance with ASTM D4052 for testing of density or relative density (specific and API gravity). It is tested by vibrational densitometer and can be used as a calibration or control standard for density measurement by vibrational or hydrometer (specific gravity) based techniques. - The Test Method used by Reagecon for testing density standards using vibrational densitometers is accredited to ISO 17025 (A2LA Ref: 6739.03). This standard is an aqueous suspension of a formazin type product that carries all of the advantages of formazin but eliminates its shortcomings.
