Reagecon’s Multi Element Standards for ICP; ICP-MS in 2-5% Nitric Acid (HNO₃) and trace Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) is manufactured from ultra-pure metals or salts. This product is manufactured gravimetrically using the mass balance approach: 100% less the sum of all impurities (w/w). Prior to bottling; the final product is tested and verified using ICP-MS and is reported using the gravimetric result; corrected for density. The results are reported in mg/kg and mg/L on the basis of weight and density. This Reagecon Density Standard Quality Range 0.7721 g/mL at 15°C is manufactured and tested in accordance with ASTM D4052 for testing of density or relative density (specific and API gravity). It is tested by vibrational densitometer and can be used as a calibration or control standard for density measurement by vibrational or hydrometer (specific gravity) based techniques. - The Test Method used by Reagecon for testing density standards using vibrational densitometers is accredited to ISO 17025 (A2LA Ref: 6739.03).
