This Reagecon Density Standard Premium Range 0.9098 g/mL at 20°C is manufactured and tested in accordance with ASTM D1480-12 for testing of density or relative density (specific and API gravity). It is tested by Bingham Pycnometry and can be used as a calibration or control standard for density measurement by pycnometer, vibrational, or hydrometer (specific gravity) based techniques. - The Test Method used by Reagecon for testing density standards using Bingham Pycnometers is accredited to ISO 17025 (A2LA Ref: 6739.03). The product is prepared gravimetrically on a weight/weight basis. Both solute and solvent are weighed on a balance calibrated by OIML traceable weights. It is stable; safe; EPA approved and accurate. - Reagecon have developed a proprietary synthetic process that produces a family of products called Turbiform™. These products combine most of the positive attributes of the formazin and AMCO APEA-1 range of standards already available from Reagecon; whilst eliminating most of the shortcomings.
