Seabees SP207, is used in Brominating of the aromatic ring provides increased hydrophobicity, and consequently, increased selectivity for hydrophobic molecules versus conventional styrene/DVB synthetic adsorbents like Diaion™ HP20 resin. Sepabeads™ SP-207 was used in kinetic and thermodynamics investigation for adsorption/desorption behavior of anthocyanin pigments. It was used as column packing material for purification of phenolic fraction. It is widely used as a adsorbent for purification in biopharmaceutical applications. This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand.
