Description

2-n-Butoxyethyl acetate is used as a solvent for nitrocellulose lacquers, enamels, coating additives, epoxy resins, and varnishes. It is a film coalescing aid for polyvinyl acetate latex. Further, it stimulates the release of prostaglandin E(2), an arachidonic acid metabolite, in human epidermal keratinocytes.
